I saw the buttons as a source of amusement and education for children. Spring is colourful, brings life, the smell of something new, that new beginning that everyone has been waiting for a long time. Spring brings joy, new opportunities, dreams and a promise of something good. Buttons nicely fit as parts of the flowers, the only stable part of the flowers.
I have been working on a series of three mixed media paintings that are following a similar theme - seasons. I don't like winter time so I only focused on Spring, Summer and Autumn.
